Vishwaguruji's birthday and Janmashtami celebrations in Strilky Ashram
On 15 August, two auspicious events took place on the same day in Mahaprabhudeep Ashram, Strilky, Czech Republic. His Holiness Vishwaguru Maheshwaranandaji has his birthday on this date according to the western calendar, and this year Janmashtami, Sri Krishna’s birthday, fell on the same day, according to the lunar calendar.
Yagya ceremonies continue in Strilky Ashram
Vishwaguruji led the opening ceremony of the beautiful new Yagya Shala (special designed shelter and fire pit for yagya) in Mahaprabhudeep Ashram, Strilky. As in Hungary, and with Vishwaguruji's blessing, Pandit Kapilji continued performing Pitra Puja (ceremony for ancestors) for anyone interested to take part, whilst attending the Strilky Summer Retreat.
