Strilky, 3-5 May 2019
His Holiness Vishwaguru Maheshwaranandaji held a seminar in Střílky, Czech Republic, for the first time this year. This seminar was an eagerly awaited darshan for Czech and other European disciples, after Vishwaguruji's five month absence from Europe.
“The subject for this seminar and for the whole of this year is Kundalini and Chakras,” announced Vishwaguruji.
He went on to say in the satsang that “awakening of kundalini should not be a competition, but it is the search for knowledge of the Self. The first step of Self-realization is to reach and maintain the level of a human. Our duty is to maintain the qualities that we have as a human. There are many abillities (kalas) in the human body.”
“Self-realization is connected to the five different bodies (koshas). First is annamaya kosha, the physical shell. The second is the pranamaya kosha or the shell of energy. In this kosha, the energy of action is stored and the lack of energy appears as laziness. Energy comes from food and air. Prana is life and that is the essence of the soul. The third kosha is called manomaya kosha, that is even stronger than pranamaya kosha. And there are two more; vigyanmaya kosha and anandamaya kosha.”
The international participants had a great opportunity to maintain and improve their yoga exercises with Mahamandaleshwar Swami Vivekpuri and Rado Hovorka, long time Yoga in Daily Life teachers. In this way the suggestions for good health from His Holiness Vishwaguruji were put into practice.
During this weekend, His Holiness Maheshwaranandaji again beautifully explained the importance of the living master, firstly in spirituality, but also in every field of human life, and he gave commentary on the verse from Guru Gita – Gurur Brahma, Gurur Vishnu, Gurur Devo Maheshwara. Vishwaguruji emphasized the importance of following right family dharma (duty) as parents, if we choose the family way of life.
The start of the green season in nature made the garden and forest of Mahaprabhudip Ashram extra beautiful, where voluntary workers have been very busy tending to the plants over the last few months. Participants had the rare opportunity in this modern world to enjoy the immense amount of peace and prana from such beautiful surroundings and an authentic yoga master, Vishwaguruji.
