While staying in Bangalore, the capital of the Indian state of Karnataka, Vishwaguru Paramhans Sri Swami Maheshwaranandaji visited Sri Puthige Sri Krishna Math in Udupi and was warmly welcomed by current main pujari, Sri Sugunendra Teertha Swamiji.

A mahamandaleshwar diksha (initiation ceremony) is always a special spiritual occasion, where a large number of mahamandaleshwars gather to give their blessings and recognition to the swami receiving the initiation of one of the highest titles in the Sanatan Dharma tradition. This time the ceremony was held in Sojat, Rajasthan, a city very near to the OM Ashram, and where the new mahamandaleshwar of Maha Nirvani Akhara, Swami Chetan Giri has his ashram.

13 May 2024 – Every detail of the construction and maintenance of the beautiful OM Ashram, temple and ashram complex, is created and completed under the watchful eye of Vishwaguruji.

22 April 2024 – Vishwaguru Paramhans Sri Swami Maheshwarananda Puriji was invited to the celebration of Hanuman Jayanti, the birthday of Sri Hanumanji, to one of the most famous Hanuman temples of Rajasthan, Mehendri Balaji Temple in the village of Mehendipur.

After a weekend seminar at Sri Mahaprabhudeep Ashram in Strilky, Czech Republic and many satsangs in Guruji Ashram in Vienna, Austria, Vishwaguruji visited his ashrams and devotees in Slovakia and Hungary. Satsangs were held in the Slovak cities of Presov, Spisska Nova Ves and Bratislava, and also in Budapest in Hungary.

After the golden days of the Grand Opening of OM Ashram in India, Vishwaguru Paramhans Sri Swami Maheshwarananda Ji travelled to Europe, where he gave many programs and satsangs for his students, in several different countries.

Finally, the day arrived for the peak of the Grand Opening ceremonies for OM Ashram – eager with anticipation, everyone gathered in front of the Shiva Temple after morning sadhana, and awaited the arrival of Vishwaguru Mahamandaleshwar Paramhans Sri Swami Maheshwarananda Ji.

On 16 February, the fifth golden Kalash was lifted onto the big Samran (the temple dome above Holy Guruji's Samadhi) and the largest Kalash dedicated by Vishwaguruji, was installed on the Sikhar (top of the Shiva Lingam Mandir), together with the Dayadanda (golden flag) on 17 February. 

14 - 17 February 2024

Vishwaguru Paramhans Sri Swami Maheshwarananda Ji led special pujas (Vedic ceremonies) performed by pandits for the five remaining Kalashas. Kalashas are placed at the top of temple domes and these golden spires will keep the spiritual energy of Sri Alakhpuriji Siddha Peeth Parampara in OM Ashram forever.
